While planning my blog, I found Ben's Blog and the video I linked to below. What a wonderfully creative explanation of Web 2.0. Students have so many opportunities to use technology to personalize their learning. Surely there is something for every teacher and student.
It would be easy to focus on the challenge of learning the technology, and matching each technology to appropriate educational uses. However, at the end of the day, technology doesn't make a teacher "good". We need to focus on educational best practices first, and then on integrating technology.
I have been wondering if "best practices" will evolve as technology usage in schools increases.

I tried to view the video but it is blocked. This presents another issue when trying to incorporate technology. It seems like sometimes a site being blocked is hit or miss.
Videos are blocked at school right now due to the slow network problems we had earlier in the year. Hopefully, an update to some of our software will allow us to use more videos again soon. Right now we'll have to watch it at home!
